  1. The application period will close on Friday May 15th, in order to give us time to allocate stall pitches, and for our stallholders to have time to collect/produce goods for sale and prepare their stall. No applications will be processed after this date.

  2. Applicants will be informed by Friday May 29th as to whether their application has been successful.

  3. A stall fee of £40 is payable before Monday June 8th, and your Public Liability Insurance must also be sent/ scanned to us by that date.

  4. Pitches will be allocated with safety and effectiveness for you and for us in mind and are not negotiable. All Marketplace stalls will be on Mill Street or Chestergate, although there will be a very limited number on the Market Place near the stage (see conditions below). A few stalls may be offered a pitch in the Kids' Zone, if relevant, also. Pitch allocations will not be available until July 1st.

  5. You will need to provide your own small table (and gazebo if required). Stalls that require a larger area than a standard table must notify us of that in their application email, as that will affect placing and allocation.

  6. Stallholders will be allowed to drive to their pitch to set up between 8am and 10am on Pride day, and to remove their stall after 6pm, if on Chestergate or Mill St, or after 8pm if you are given a Market Place pitch (please tell us if you can stay until 8pm). You must commit to this minimum time in order to be offered a pitch. Please estimate your stock requirements accordingly, and bear in mind we expect several thousand people in attendance during the course of the event. All vehicles must be off the site by 10am and may not return until 8pm.

  7. Once you have paid your fee, all your profit from the day is yours. In return we ask you to decorate and dress your stall and yourself in Pride rainbow colours, and to advertise your attendance in advance to promote the event. Stall dressing packs will be available to purchase from us nearer the time, if you wish, or you may source your own.

  8. For our commitment to you, we will list your business in our Pride Programme and ensure that there are no more than one or two of each kind of stall, selling similar products, in order to help you have a positive and profitable day!

  9. Macclesfield Pride reserves the right to select stalls according to suitability for our event, in terms of the nature of the business and its principles where relevant. Macclesfield Pride promotes equality, diversity and inclusion and will give priority to companies who share and actively promote these values, and also is committed to supporting local small businesses where possible.
