Join us in the Macclesfield town centre for a fabulously colourful day of
Live Music, Marketplace Stalls,
the Rainbow Raffle and so much more!
For more information on how to register your group for the Pride Parade, apply to run a stall or help out with the event, email firstname.lastname@example.org
Our first ever Pride Parade was so successful and popular, that we have planned a longer route for this year! The Parade will set off from Duke Street car park at 12 noon on MaccPride day, Saturday 11th July. We will parade around the streets, along the length of Chestergate and to the Market Place, to signal the official start of the event. We invite the whole Macclesfield community to join us - families, schools, churches, groups and businesses. We are marching to stand up for equality, inclusion, and the right to ‘Be Yourself’, so the dress code is up to you, with added rainbows!
Use the dropdown from the MaccPride 2020 tab above, or use these quick links below to learn more about how you can get involved!
The Main Event
Our Main Stage and stalls will be up and running by late morning, and there will be plenty of choice of food and drink too. We hope that a good crowd will have gathered by the time the Parade arrives and our stage programme kicks off! We have lots of great performances lined up, right through until 8pm, to keep the party going!
MaccPride will continue into the night, with a range of ‘afterparty’ events, organised by our various partner venues around the town! More details will be released soon, but there will be something for everyone.
