Charity and Health & Wellbeing Applications

This application is solely for Charities and Health & Wellbeing groups who want a stall but are not selling merchandise or products.

  1. The application period will close on Friday May 15th, in order to give us time to allocate stall pitches, and for our stallholders to have time to collect/produce materials and prepare their stall.No applications will be processed after this date.

  2. Applicants will be informed by Friday May 29th as to whether their application has been successful

  3. There is no fee, as long as you are not selling goods, although you will need your own Public Liability Insurance, which must also be sent/ scanned to us. If you wish to sell merchandise to fundraise for your charity/ group, the fee will be £40.

  4. Pitches will be allocated with safety and effectiveness for you and for us in mind and are not negotiable. Pitch allocations will not be available until July 1st.

  5. You will need to provide your own small table (and gazebo if required) or pop up.

  6. Stallholders will be allowed to drive to their pitch to set up between 8am and 10am on Pride day, and to remove their stall after 6pm, if on Chestergate or Mill St, or after 8pm if you are given a Market Place pitch (please tell us if you can stay until 8pm). You must commit to this minimum time in order to be offered a pitch. Please estimate your stock requirements (publicity/ merchandise if applicable) accordingly, and bear in mind we expect several thousand people in attendance during the course of the event. Cars must be parked offsite during the event.

  7. Whatever the nature of your group or charity, we ask you to decorate and dress your stall and yourself in Pride rainbow colours, and to advertise your attendance in advance to promote the event. Stall dressing packs will be available to purchase from us nearer the time, if you wish, or you may source your own.

  8. We will list your group in our Pride Programme and will try to promote your attendance on our social media too.

  9. Macclesfield Pride reserves the right to select stalls according to suitability for our event, in terms of the nature of the business and its principles where relevant. Macclesfield Pride promotes equality, diversity and inclusion and will give priority to companies who share and actively promote these values, and also is committed to supporting local small businesses where possible.
